I think I'm gonna look around for old unsigned garage band cassette tapes
especially from the late 80's early 90's era.
I assume being in Seattle, there must be a TON out there..
just gotta figure out who has em.

Sexy Freud and Confused rocked! They did shows at the Ditto Tavern underneath the monorail back in the early 90's. I still listen to the sexy Freud tape I have...good times! ;)

I'm kicking myself now for getting rid of all my tapes in a spring cleaning rage thinking "oh I'll never listen to these tapes again"
I didn't think about that fact that some of them would be virtually irreplaceable. + there is this "grain" of tape noise that you don't get on a CD and you just can't reproduce. much like the pops and hisses form a Record, or even digital file compression of an MP3. Never get rid of music, even if you don't like it now, you may again someday... now I just need to get my echinacea tapes back! lol
